Exposed Fastener

Exposed Fastener Metal Panel Roofing Profiles

Exposed Fastener Metal Roofing and Wall Panel Systems offer a classic metal panel look with the distinct feature of exposed fasteners (screws), visible on top of panels. Primarily used for residential and agricultural applications, these versatile metal profiles are known for their ease of installation and affordable price point. No seaming or special tools are required.  Exposed fastener metal panels can usually be installed horizontally or vertically making them great for soffits, mansard roofs or a striking accent for interior applications.

While exposed fastener metal roofing and metal wall panel systems offer durability and long-term protection from extreme weather, they do require a little more maintenance than concealed fastener panels.  Over time, the natural expansion and contraction of metal when exposed to the elements will put stress on fasteners. Gradual deterioration of screws and their rubber washers from UV rays also occurs. To ensure the longevity of an exposed fastener metal panel system, proper installation, more routine maintenance and fastener replacement as needed are highly recommended.
